Praise Assembly of God is located in Derby, KS just south of Wichita. The pastoral staff and the family of Praise Assembly believe the purpose of the church's existence is to glorify God, and the best way to do this is to disciple others in Jesus Christ, and to assist them in becoming all God intended them to be. We seek to do this by providing opportunities for biblical growth in our spiritual, emotional, and social lives; we depend upon the Holy Spirit to lead each of us on this life long journey.
Praise Assembly is a caring body of believers that is purposed with a community and global vision. The driving force of the church is its heartbeat for equipping others to succeed in Christian living. Praise Assembly is committed to missions, with a priority on people. The ministry philosophy we incorporate is a genuine, heartfelt worship, with sound biblical instruction, corporate fellowship and active, personal evangelism.
Every program and outreach is designed to accomplish one of three goals:
- Introduce people to Christ (relationship)
- Assist fellow believers in their maturing walk with God (discipleship)
- Inspire People to Demonstrate Love for God (lifestyle worship)
